Another try at the old 90’s no-neg graffiti style. I drew the girl wearing the mask with upside down cross, huge fake boobs and holding dual knives after watching a OFWGKTA live performance. The apocalyptic scene of destroyed buildings and burnt out car was an after thought to fill up the rest of the page but it worked out nice and gave the drawing a believable background

Cleavage gangsters

 Shook some rust off of my cans and finished painting the inside of tanning salon with a Alcatraz/prison theme. I painted the gangsters: George "Machine Gun" Kelly and Al Capone from pictures i found online and then freestyled the "cheerful incarcerated female" character to wrap it up since i ran out of photo reference of mobsters. Not bad for a few hours work in dark, below freezing conditions after not painting for some months. *pats self on back.

Grunge Strokes Stock Vector

ive been making some stock vectors. i figured that i spend so much time drawing and on the computer that maybe i should try to make some money off it. Well here is one i made of a bunch of grungy looking marker strokes. Its been a few months since i joined this vector stock site and so far i have made 75¢...Look out Bill Gates!! If you already have a ton of eps files on your hard drive and dont mind people raping your art and calling it their own it might be worth joining, but don't expect to get rich.

art crimes = solid

I'm being all nostalgic right now and thinking about that feeling i had towards graffiti when it was still new to me, i've been trying to figure out how get a little piece of that back. I mean... i still love it, there's nothing better than that feeling at the of end of a day painting, stepping back and your piece is complete. Just saying to yourself yeahh i made this. I used to try to fall asleep, eyes closed and graffiti burners would flash though my mind as bright as day with styles i thought i was inventing morphing and moving like the opening credits of wildstyle. These days when i close my eyes at night i just fall asleep.
So im going back and looking at my old artwork from around that era from when i was still wet behind the ears to see if i can spark any of that back.
after a quick google search i came across the artcrimes blackbook section with some bitmapped looking scans of tern characters ( the letter e was so much more fun to draw than the letter u ). I have to say im impressed with artcrimes, these outlines have been on that site since before i even had aol and a an annoyingly loud dial up modem. The era of krylon dove gray, clover green, saftey purple and popsicle orange. Before german caps and before i knew about how the graff game is just a cool guy contest for most writers. (no offense cool guys)
